There is no need to go very far to participate in extra-curricular activities either, as the courtyard has an ancient waterfront sauna and pier right by the Ounasjoki river. You can apply a cleansing mud mask all over your body while sitting on the sauna benches then take a dip in the spa bath between each sauna session. When work is finished, it is time to relax in the gentle warmth of the sauna and dive into the outdoor spa pool. If you feel the need to cool off, you can take a dip in the Ounasjoki river. The sauna experience can be supplemented with local peat using a self-applied peat mask or sauna honey mask<\/p>\n
