At Tonttula Elämyskylä, we strive to make the experience as accessible as possible for all our visitors. Below is an overview of the accessibility features across the area:
Tonttula Restaurant: A wheelchair ramp is available at the entrance if needed.
Santa’s Visitor Center: The building has an accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible restroom.
Santa’s Home: Access involves a steep uphill path. However, the building itself is fully accessible and equipped with an elevator.
Outdoor Paths: The main route through the Elämyskylä area follows a mostly flat, sandy trail.
Tontun Piilo Buildings (Elf School, Gingerbread House, Wise One’s Hut): These buildings are accessible via ramps. Both exterior and interior doors can be opened.
Seitakivi Stone: There is a slight level difference at the entrance, but both doors can be opened to improve accessibility.
Other Yard Buildings: Some buildings, such as the traditional storage huts, unfortunately have steps of varying height.
We recommend visiting with an assistant to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
