When you stay at the glass-roofed Aurora Pyramids, you can almost touch the ever-changing sky, nature and it’s forces. Heavenly nature and the Firmament present themselves through the glass roof in a new way, every day. The Aurora Pyramids (11 of them) are located in Finnish Lapland, Tonttula Experience village, only 10 minutes drive away from Levi centre. Kittilä Airport is 21km away from Aurora Pyramids.

The pyramids are equipped with motorized beds that can be adjusted for the perfect sleeping position – or tilted to admire the breathtaking views through the glass roof.
In summer, you can marvel at the glow of the Midnight Sun; in autumn, the vibrant colours of nature and fiery sunsets; and in midwinter, the dark, mystical polar night filled with thousands of sparkling stars.
Although we cannot guarantee sightings of the Northern Lights above the Arctic Circle, the 360° glass roof of the pyramids greatly increases your chances of witnessing this magical phenomenon.
Lapland’s weather can be extreme, but the Aurora Pyramids are designed to ensure comfort in every season.
One of the north-facing roof windows is made of solar-powered heated glass, helping to keep the cold out during the winter.
In summer, efficient air conditioning and selective glass prevent the pyramids from overheating in the sun.
For year-round comfort, each pyramid is equipped with underfloor heating, air conditioning, and an adjustable heat pump (+/- 5 °C).
The pyramids bring the balance and energy of nature to those who stay within. They harness and channel the ancient power of the Northern Lights, which can be admired beneath the glass roof.
Throughout history, the pyramid shape has been associated with positive effects on the human body. In addition, the beds in the Aurora Pyramids are aligned with the Earth’s magnetic north for enhanced rest and wellbeing.

Inside the pyramid, you can sense the healing power of its magical shape. Sleeping beneath the golden peak crowns the experience, surrounding the guest with cosmic energy.
At the very top of the pyramid stands a small golden pyramid, said to create a connection with the universe.
Copper wells embedded in the floor enable even those sensitive to electricity to stay comfortably in the pyramids.
The positive ionization caused by heated glass is neutralized as beneficial negative ions flow in through the ionization chamber, replacing the positives. Due to the pyramid’s shape, the upward-moving positive ions are forced aside, creating a kind of vacuum that draws beneficial negative ions from the earth into the pyramid.
This creates a concentration of energy, producing a swirling motion in which the ions rebound off the walls and gently surround the people inside.
A generous buffet breakfast is included in the room rate year-round.
During the winter season, we also serve a daily changing 3-course dinner. The weekly menu includes a variety of dishes and caters to special dietary requirements.
