








PRELIMINARY ADVANCE BOOKING
ADVANCE PAYMENTS FOR THE NEXT WINTER SEASON
Advance bookings for the next winter season will be invoiced at the earliest on 1 June.
PAYMENT TERMS (IN SEASON 1 November – 30 April)
Once the booking is confirmed at the agreed time, a 30% advance payment of the booking value will be charged.
The remaining balance of 70% will be charged 60–90 days before the booking date, depending on the property and the number of units booked.

GROUP CANCELLATION TERMS
Number of rooms 5–19
– if cancelled 90–61 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 30% of the accommodation price
– if cancelled 60–31 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 75% of the accommodation price
– if cancelled 30–0 days before arrival, the full booking value will be charged
Number of rooms 20–49
– if cancelled 120–91 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 30% of the accommodation price
– if cancelled 90–51 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 75% of the accommodation price
– if cancelled 50–0 days before arrival, the full booking value will be charged
Number of rooms over 50
– cancellation terms will be agreed separately for each booking

– free cancellation up to 90 days before arrival, minus an administrative fee of €50
– if cancelled 90–61 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 30% of the accommodation price
– if cancelled 60–31 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 50% of the accommodation price
– if cancelled 30–0 days before arrival, the full booking value will be charged
– changes of 1–2 rooms to the original room allocation without cancellation fees if the change is made 30 days before arrival
Number of rooms 5–30
– free cancellation up to 120 days before arrival, minus an administrative fee of €50
– if cancelled 120–91 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 30% of the accommodation price
– if cancelled 90–51 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 75% of the accommodation price
– if cancelled 50–0 days before arrival, the full booking value will be charged
– changes of 1–4 rooms to the original room allocation without cancellation fees if the change is made 14 days before arrival
Cancellation must always be made in writing to the address below or by email to sales@hulluporo.fi. The cancellation is considered effective at the moment the information has reached Hullu Poro Oy. The cancellation terms also apply to changes in booked services.
Hullu Poro Oy does not compensate the customer for any costs arising from the cancellation. For these and other exceptional situations, Hullu Poro Oy recommends that the customer takes out travel insurance including cancellation cover. For compelling reasons, Hullu Poro Oy has the right to transfer the booking to another accommodation of at least the same standard after negotiating with the customer. Hullu Poro Oy will compensate the customer for any direct costs caused by the transfer.
CHANGES TO THE BOOKING
If the customer changes the accommodation, dates of stay, additional services and/or number of persons within the time limits allowed in the cancellation terms above, a change fee of €20 will be charged.
HULLU PORO OY RIGHT TO CANCEL THE BOOKING
In case of force majeure or any obstacle beyond the control of Hullu Poro Oy (e.g. fire or water damage), Hullu Poro Oy may cancel the booking. In such cases, the customer is entitled to a full refund of payments made. Hullu Poro Oy also reserves the right to cancel the booking if payments related to the reservation are not made on time.
STAY IN THE ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation is available to the customer from 16:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, check-out is at 11:00. The price includes bed linen (made up), towels and final cleaning.
Even final cleaning is included, the customer is required to leave the accommodation in a condition reflecting normal use, i.e. furniture and equipment in place and intact. Hullu Poro Oy is not responsible for items stored in or left in the accommodation.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all accommodation units! If smoking occurs, a cleaning fee (minimum €300) will be charged. Hullu Poro Oy is not responsible for any allergic reactions or other issues caused by unauthorized smoking or animal allergens. A no-pets policy mentioned in the accommodation description does not guarantee suitability for allergy sufferers.
The use of tents, camper vans or caravans on Hullu Poro Oy property without permission from the owner is prohibited.
DAMAGES
The customer is responsible for compensating Hullu Poro Oy for any damages caused to the accommodation or its contents during the rental period, whether intentional or unintentional. Any damages must be reported immediately to the reception of Hullu Poro Oy.
TERMINATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT DUE TO DISTURBANCE OR SAFETY ISSUES
If the customer continues to cause disturbance or danger to others in the property or neighbouring properties despite a warning, the owner or their representative has the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately. Any costs incurred from such actions will be charged to the customer and no refund will be issued.
NUMBER OF PERSONS
The accommodation must not be used by more persons than stated in the reservation.
PETS
Pets are allowed only in rooms designated for pets. The presence of a pet must be declared at the time of booking, and a fee of €20 per room per stay will be charged. The customer must clean up after the pet and is responsible for any damages caused. Any damages must be reported immediately to Hullu Poro Oy.
COMPLAINTS
All complaints regarding the equipment or condition of the accommodation must be reported immediately to Hullu Poro Oy when the issue arises. If the customer does not report the issue during the stay, they lose the right to compensation. If the issue is not resolved satisfactorily during the stay, the complaint must be submitted in writing to Hullu Poro Oy before the end of the reservation. If no mutual agreement is reached, the matter can be referred to the Consumer Disputes Board.
Hullu Poro Oy is not liable for inconvenience or costs caused by natural conditions, insects, rodents, unexpected weather changes, construction work in neighbouring areas, or regional interruptions in electricity, water or TV services.
Internet access is provided free of charge. Any disturbances should be reported immediately to the hotel reception and will be addressed as soon as possible. No compensation will be granted for interruptions or malfunction of the internet connection.
HULLU PORO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CORRECT ERRORS IN PRICING INFORMATION
Incorrect pricing information is not binding if the error is obvious and the customer should have understood it. Such a situation exists, for example, when the difference between the stated price and the actual price is significant or the price is exceptionally low compared to the general price level.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
The parties aim to resolve disputes through mutual negotiations. If no agreement is reached, the customer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board or the District Court of Lapland. Finnish law shall apply.
Hullu Poro Oy is not responsible for changes beyond its control occurring after the publication of these terms.
