Traditional wooden sauna at the river bank used to be an old lumberjacks´ hut. Even 15 person can sit on the wide benches of this sauna at the same time.
In the 100 years old log sauna we offer a wonderful feeling with a temperature of +60 ºC degrees.
You may jump to the pure waters of Ounasjoki river straight from the sauna. After having the sauna bath you can almost feel like born-again.
Wild River Ounasjoki is just beside the sauna and you can dip into its pure, fresh water both in the summer and winter time.
These masks may effect in the warmth of the sauna. Peat mask increases metabolism.
Let the natural ingredients effect on your body in the warmth of the sauna. The peat mask increases metabolism and gently peels the skin. The peat originates deep down from a Lappish swamp. It has a lot of minerals in it. The honey mask moisturizes, revitalizes and calms the skin in a natural way. Both masks are self applied on the skin and let have an impact for 15-30 minutes in the sauna. By reservation remember to mention which mask is preferred.
Bathing outside is a true experience both in winter and summer. Freshness of the pure air, warm water and massaging water showers create perfect circumstances for relaxing.
A bit of frost, Aurora borealis, countless stars, quietness and nature give extra pleasure. The pool is for six persons.
Near the sauna is a cozy barn where it is nice to spend the night after the sauna.
Beside the open fire in the oven some cold drinks and snacks tastes even better than somewhere else.
From the window there is a beautiful scene out to the river.
Peace and quietness give the place a unique character.
During winter time the most daring ones take a breezy dip in to cold water between bathing.

The rate includes use of the sauna, jacuzzi and parn use, as well as towels, peflets and detergents.
